Legal / Cookies

A small footprint, explained.

This notice describes the cookies and browser storage used on Tooig’s website, what each one does, and how you can control them.

01

What cookies are.

Cookies are small text records stored by a browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can remember a setting on a device without sending that setting with every request.

02

Essential storage.

When account access is enabled, secure session cookies help keep a signed-in session connected to the correct browser. These cookies are used for authentication and security and are not optional while using the signed-in service.

03

Preference storage.

The site stores your selected location in local storage under the key “tooig-location”. This keeps the footer preference on your device. Removing the value resets the site to automatic location selection.

04

Analytics and advertising.

The current public landing pages do not set advertising cookies. If we introduce optional analytics or marketing technologies, this notice and any required consent controls will be updated before they are used.

05

Third-party services.

A linked external site may set its own cookies after you leave Tooig. Its notice, not this one, governs that activity. We aim to avoid embedding third-party services that create unnecessary tracking on public pages.

06

Your controls.

Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies and site data. Blocking essential session cookies may prevent sign-in. Clearing local storage removes saved preferences but does not remove information you submitted to Tooig, such as an early-access record.

07

Updates.

We review this notice when storage practices change. The last-updated date above is the clearest indication that the notice has been revised.
