Scope.

This policy applies to tooig.com, Rig research-preview registrations, and communications that link to this policy. A Tooig product may provide an additional notice when its data practices are meaningfully different.

Information we receive.

Depending on how you use the site, we may receive:

• Contact details you submit, such as your name and email address.
• A record of your research-preview billing authorisation and the limited payment-method references returned by our payment partner, such as a customer ID, payment-method ID, card brand, and last four digits.
• Card details you enter for the research preview are encrypted and sent to our payment partner to create a tokenised payment method. Tooig does not store the full card number, security code, or card expiry in its database.
• Support or community correspondence and the context you choose to include.
• Account and authentication information when a gated Tooig service is available to you.
• Technical information needed to deliver and secure the service, such as request timestamps, browser details, and diagnostic events.
• Preferences stored on your device, including your selected site location.

How we use information.

We use personal information to operate the site, hold and confirm a research-preview place, administer the launch-day payment authorisation you request, respond to requests, secure our systems, diagnose problems, meet legal obligations, and improve the clarity and reliability of our products.

We do not sell personal information or use research-preview registrations for unrelated advertising.

Why processing is permitted.

We process information when it is needed to provide something you requested, when you have given consent, when a legal obligation applies, or when a legitimate operational or security interest is not overridden by your rights. The appropriate basis depends on the interaction and applicable law.

When information is shared.

We may use carefully selected service providers for hosting, databases, email, payments, security, and support. Our payment partner processes the card information submitted in the research-preview form and returns the references needed to identify the tokenised payment method. Providers receive only the information needed to perform their role and are expected to protect it. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a company transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention.

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose described, to maintain a reliable record, resolve disputes, or meet legal requirements. Research-preview records, consent records, and provider references are removed or anonymised when the programme no longer needs them, subject to required financial and legal recordkeeping. Full card numbers and security codes are not retained by Tooig.

Security.

We use technical and organisational safeguards designed for the sensitivity of the information we hold. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure, so we also limit collection and access wherever practical.

Your choices and rights.

Depending on your location, you may be able to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited information when law permits or requires it.

Children.

Tooig products are not directed to children who are not legally able to consent to the relevant service. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission, contact us so we can review it.

Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy as the site and products evolve. The date above will change when we do. If a change materially affects how information is used, we will provide an appropriate additional notice.
